The Knight's Tour - Always the finale, a random starting square is determined by the audience, and Rocco completes the Knight's Tour, BLINDFOLDED and under threat of dismemberment.
The Knight's Tour is the single most difficult chess puzzle known to man. (Though worry not; you do not need to know HOW to play chess to appreciate this demonstration of mental mastery!)
A knight's tour is a sequence of knight moves on a chessboard such that it visits every square only once. The knight's move is unusual among chess pieces - the complete move looks like the letter L.
It has been stated that the greatest chess players of all time can see 15 - 20 moves in advance. In this demonstration, Rocco endeavours to see all 64 of them.
Rocco tracks the Knight's movements solely in his mind, as he performs this demonstration blindfolded. And in order to increase the level of difficulty, the audience randomly selects the starting square. Right up until the 64th move is made, onlookers truly believe that this demonstration is not only improbable, but utterly impossible.
In the event that he fails to successfully complete the Tour, Rocco punishes himself by literally adding injury to insult, undertaking an unforgettable act of self-injurious behavior that makes the audience gasp and wince and leaves them with a sensational effect that will always be remembered.
There is no such thing as bad memories, only disciplined or undisciplined ones.
